Wesley Savadow is accustomed to public life, and makes sure to talk openly with his children about exposure on social media. The topic became a topic at home last week, when first child Jodi, 15, decided to create an Instagram profile. The singer attracted on Friday the fifth of this month, recalling the conversation he had with the teenager before the decision and explained: “I have already reached an agreement.”

Also the father of Yesis, 11, and younger Dom, 7, Savadaw often posts family records and part of his routine with his children on social media. However, the specific profile of Yhudy was determined jointly, after a lot of advice.

The account went public five days ago and sparked fans’ curiosity after the teenager made his first post with a set of family records. Less than a week later, the teenager already has more than 300,000 followers on the social network.

According to Savadao, he himself had already talked to Jodi about the possibility of broadband access online and gave him advice. “What I try to convey to him is that he should do what he wants and know that the world is not limited to social media only,” he said.

The teenager, who accompanied his father to the Christmas festival in Rio Grande do Norte, appears to be dealing with the repercussions of the profile well. At least that’s what the singer guarantees.

“I spoke to him two or three times, slowly trying to figure out how he feels, and he is very calm,” he says. “What worries me most is that not everything we do on social media is that we are prepared for what people will think.”

Experienced in dealing with fame, Safadão is trying to teach his son not to pay too much attention to the negative comments coming from haters. “Not everyone is going to agree with what he thinks,” he explains.

He adds: “What I tell him is: You are the son of someone who has had many years of work and public life. Make social networks work for you. Don’t be a hostage.”

If, on the one hand, there is concern about Jodi’s adaptation to media exposure, on the other hand, the singer says he is comfortable with his son’s behavior in the face of the news.

“Nothing has changed during the time he spent on his cell phone. He is doing well, even more than I thought and worried about him. He is enjoying his age and his childhood. Today he spent the day at the beach playing with me and his younger brother. It was a ‘vacation’ day away from the networks and it was a really great day,” he celebrates.

Offline with family, online on stage

If, along with his children, Savadow prefers to slow down and enjoy his time offline, the logic works completely differently in his professional life. With his busy schedule and the announcement of a new show for June on TV Globo, the singer says he still has professional dreams to fulfill.

“One of the dreams that we will complete in 2026 is to present a program in the month of São João. It is a really great representation, mainly because I love being from the Northeast.

“I am very proud of this flag,” says the artist from Ceara.

Regarding other projects, Savadao prefers to maintain mystery: “There are other things I want to do for 2026, but we will reveal them to you soon!”, he confirmed shortly before entering the Karnattal Theme Fund phase.
