Last Friday night (05), a public hearing was held at Corinthians on reforming the club’s statutes. The meeting was held at the Neo Química Arena and was attended by advisors, partners and Timão fans. There were many proposals on the agenda, but all unanimously reserved the right to vote for fan members.

Speakers made suggestions on how to draft Article 21, which regulates the right to vote. All attendees agree that members of Fiel Torcedor, the club’s fan membership scheme, should be able to vote in Corinthians elections, contrary to what current law stipulates.

Some participants disagreed on certain points, such as the plan amount to be collected and the contribution time needed to have the right to vote. Another point that has remained in dispute is whether eligibility will be retroactive for those who are already fan partners today.

Some speakers also suggested including a minimum frequency of games within the rules. But the proposal was met with resistance from some participants, including the president of the deliberative council, Romeo Toma Junior, who believed that the idea would limit fan participation.

The hearing had more fans than the first session held in Parque São Jorge. The vote on the legal reform was scheduled to take place on November 24, but it ended up being postponed. New elections are expected to be held in February 2026.
