The “tribes” are already conquering the area around the stadium to see Indio Solari’s band

The Fundamentalists of Air Conditioning, the band of Indio Solari, former leader of Patricio Rey and his Redonditos de Ricota, will perform tonight at the “Diego Armando Maradona” stadium in La Plata, which will be the first of their two shows in our city. Meanwhile, this afternoon the Ricoteros – as their followers are called – have taken over the surroundings of the place, which is now ready for the new “Ricotera Mass”.

The boulevard of Avenida 32, at the intersection with Avenida 19, was the main meeting point in the first half of this Saturday for Los Redondos fans, who apparently were not worried about the oppressive heat that has been affecting the area for several days.

So much so that at this intersection one could already experience the authentic atmosphere of the Ricotero recital like in the old days of Los Redondos.

The area was full of choripán and barbecue stalls, while also boasting a gastronomic corridor with various stalls selling food, drinks, crafts and clothing with references to the Ricotero universe. Meanwhile, businesses around the stadium, particularly shops, kiosks and butchers, were crowded with people seeking fluids or meat to grill.

For their part, “The Tribes” hung their flags, pavilions and blankets over the promenade in a preview that will surely extend into the concert’s imminent moments.

For their part, local fans camped in Plaza Güemes at numbers 19 and 38 or in Parque Alberti at numbers 25 and 38. They also began to conquer various corners of the La Loma neighborhood, where neighbors took the opportunity to provide parking, toilets and some supplies such as drinks and snacks (empanadas, Milanese sandwiches, choripán and hamburgers).

Large crowds of fans were also expected in areas 25 and 33 and 25 and 526, as was the case during other Los Fundamentalistas visits.

According to official information, the concert is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. The doors of “Diego Armando Maradona” will open at 5 p.m.
