Flamengo publishes the schedule for the first intercontinental duel. Look

Flamengo has set the schedule for the Intercontinental Cup. The red and black team will face the Mexican Cruz Azul, next Wednesday (10/12), at 2:00 p.m. (Brasilia time). The competition will take place in Qatar.

This Saturday morning (6/12), the team had a training session. The team embarks in the afternoon for Qatar. To ensure the comfort of the athletes, the red and black council chartered a plane with executive seats for transportation worth more than a billion reais.

The Flamengo delegation, which is expected to number around 100 people, including athletes, committee and club employees, will embark on Saturday afternoon (12/06), in Rio de Janeiro. The plane will stop in Accra, the capital of Ghana, Africa, for refueling, and will continue on to Qatar.

As soon as it arrives on Qatari soil, coach Filipe Luís’ team will train this Sunday (7/12). The team also trains on Monday (12/8) and Tuesday (12/9), before facing Cruz Azul on Wednesday (12/10).

If it advances in the duel against Cruz Azul, Flamengo will face Pyramids, from Egypt, on December 13. The final of the tournament will be played against PSG, current champions of the Champions League, on the 17th of the same month.
