There are two days left until the La Plata classic that Gimnasia and Estudiantes will play this Monday, December 8, in the semifinals of the 2025 Clausura tournament of the Professional League. Fear is increasing and, as in every derby, the themes of color and reception are the protagonists.
In this context, the Ministry of Security of the Province of Buenos Aires, through the Agency for the Prevention of Violence in Sports (APreViDe), pointed out in a statement this Saturday: “Accompanying the agreements with the organizing club, it should be borne in mind that the entry and use of pyrotechnics such as flares, smoke and other devices is prohibited in the stands, stands and traffic corridors manipulated by the public.”
“In the event of observation of use in the stadium, the identification of people is carried out through monitoring of the security video cameras in order to impose a ban on those involved in violations of the sports law,” the organization said.
They added: “Furthermore, the club will be penalized by immediate compliance with the requirements for the next match in any football competition it plays.”
“The only exceptional use of pyrotechnics in the stadium, especially on the playing field, must be reported to this agency for approval by the organizing club in good time before the event,” it said.
