Flamengo carried out the final works on Brazilian soil before the Intercontinental Cup. This Saturday (12/06), the red and black club trained tomorrow at the training center and headed to Qatar to compete in the competition. Fans held an AeroFla, a farewell event, to wish the players success.

Just like in the Copa Libertadores final, Flamengo fans gathered at the cargo terminal of Tom Jobim International Airport in Galeão to cheer on the players ahead of the important Intercontinental Cup duel.
Unlike what happened before the Libertadores duel, when Flamengo beat Palmeiras 1 x 0, the Rio de Janeiro military police intensified security and prevented fans from approaching the bus with the red-black delegation. Despite everything, many fans were present at AeroFla.
Wednesday (10/12), Flamengo faces the Mexican Cruz Azul, in Qatar. The ball rolls around at 2 p.m. (Brasilia time). The winner of the duel, titled Derbi das Américas, will face Pyramids, from Egypt. Whoever advances will face PSG in the final.
