With a diet of exclusive dedicationhis annual remuneration is 69,446.79 eurosan amount significantly lower than that of other heads of provincial institutions.
In this sense, the comparative data reveal great salary disparities between the different institutions. At the top of this ranking are the presidents of the Provincial Deputations of Biscay, Alava and Barcelona, who exceed 100,000 euros annual remuneration. The president of the Provincial Deputation of Biscay tops the list with 122,650.78 euros, followed by the president of the Provincial Deputation of Barcelona, with 114,017.12 euros, and the president of the Provincial Deputation of Alava, with 113,515.79 euros.
On the other hand, Fuentes is accompanied in the queue by his counterpart from the Provincial Council of Soria (€54,653.88); Zamora (€65,794.90) and Teruel (€67,798.05).
In Andalusia, the mayors of Malaga, Seville and Granada earn more than 70,000 euros per year
In the rest of Andalusia, the presidents of Malaga (€95,500.63), Seville (€95,684.88) and Granada (€73,277.96) receive higher salaries, highlighting a difference that extends not only between provinces, but also between autonomous communities.
These remunerations include both base salaries like the additional information to attend company meetings. The comparison is made by considering the 48 elected officials for whom data has been received to date.
Regarding the salaries of mayors, that of the councilor of Córdoba, José María Bellido, is also one of the lowest in the group of provincial capitals in Spain (44 of the 52 provided data), with a remuneration of 59,382.66 euros per yearbeing one of the mayors of medium-sized cities with the lowest salaries.

For example, mayors of large cities like Madrid (110,688.12 euros), Barcelona (104,000 euros) and Bilbao (105,557.28 euros) They receive significantly higher salaries. However, Córdoba is barely above other capitals like Zamora (39,628.49 euros) and Soria (63,876.14 euros).
