
The 15th round of the Premier League began this Saturday (6/12) with seven matches. Highlights included Aston Villa’s 2-1 victory over Arsenal, with a goal in the last minute of the match and Newcastle’s triumph with an Olympic goal from Bruno Guimarães.
Arsenal lead the competition, with 33 points. In addition to the defeat, the Gunners saw the Villans move up the standings, with 30 points in 3rd place.

However, the one that comes closest to the London team is Manchester City. The Citizens’ 3-0 victory over Sunderland leaves Pep Guardiola’s side just two points off the top of the league.
Newcastle also won. The Magpies beat Burnley 2-0, thanks to an Olympic goal from Brazilian Bruno Guimarães. Tottenham also came away with a positive result from the round. Spurs hosted Brentford and took a 2-0 lead.

Liverpool have stumbled again in the Premier League. The Reds drew 3-3 with Leeds away. The current Premier League champion has 23 points and occupies, at least momentarily, 8th place. Chelsea were another great team that failed to win. The Blues, who are in 4th place, drew 0-0 with Bournemouth.
