In a breathtaking match for the round of 15 of the Premier League, Leeds and Liverpool drew 3-3 this Saturday (6/12), at the traditional Elland Road. In fact, all the goals were scored in the second half.

Barely three minutes after the start of the final phase, Ekitiké opened the scoring for the Reds. Shortly after, the striker scored again and increased the lead. Leeds reacted quickly: in just two minutes, Calvert-Lewin and Stach equalized, igniting the home crowd. In the 35th minute, Szoboszlai put the visitors back in front, giving the impression that victory was assured. But, in stoppage time, Tanaka seemed to declare the match a draw and thwart the plans of Arne Slot’s men.

Situation in the table

With this result, Liverpool remains eighth, with 23 points. The team, however, runs the risk of losing positions until the end of the round, since Brighton and Manchester United can still overtake them. Leeds, on the other hand, remain in a delicate situation: they occupy 16th place, with 15 points, and are dangerously approaching the relegation zone.
