A collision between two vehicles left one dead and another injured this Saturday morning (12/06), on the BR-424 highway, towards the Marechal Deodoro pole, in the metropolitan region of Maceió. The accident mobilized significant rescue forces, with integrated action from Samu, the Alagoas Military Fire Brigade (CBMAL) and the State Department of Aviation (DEA).

First aid was launched before emergency teams arrived. Doctor Adriano Luna of the DEA, who was on duty in the organ shed, noticed the accident, stopped the vehicle and found that the victim was in serious condition and trapped in the rubble. Faced with gravity, he immediately contacted Samu and requested an Advanced Support Unit.
