In a post on social media, the team declares that this is the last weekend of competition in the Truck Cup.
Last Friday (6), ASG Motorsports announced on its social networks that it will no longer be part of the Copa Truck grid from 2026. According to a publication on the official channel of the category, the team will compete under the Full Time Sports structure from next season. The news was announced on the eve of the 2025 Super Final, which took place this weekend at the Autodromo de Interlagos.
On the Copa Truck grid since 2022, ASG Motorsports has competed in both categories, accumulating 30 victories, more than 100 podiums and 15 pole positions. Since its debut, the team has been among the first in the standings, winning the title with Wellington Cirino, in Super Truck Pro in 2022, and with Bia Figueiredo, in the Elite category in 2024.
In ASG’s statement, the team said it was “the perfect setting to conclude a story written with work, purpose and passion.”
For the last stage, ASG arrives with Raphael Abbate in second place in the Pro category in the fight for the title. In Elite, Pedro Perdoncini and Arthur Scherer occupy first and second place respectively in the ranking.
