Mirassol concedes three goals at home for the first time in Brasileirão

The 2025 season is over for Mirassol. Saturday evening (12/06), Leão Caipira welcomed Flamengo for the 38th day of the Brazilian Championship. Under a shower of goals, the teams were tied: 3 x 3. It was the first time this year that the club had conceded three goals at home in a national competition.

Mirassol has participated in two official competitions this season: Campeonato Paulista and Brasileirão. In total, Leão Caipira played 25 home matches, six in the national tournament and 19 in the national football elite. In the clashes played for the Brazilian Championship, in the last duel alone, the club was beaten three times.

Previously, the team had conceded only two goals at home in two matches, against Atlético-MG, in the 6th round, and against Vasco, in the 18th. The duels ended 2 x 2 and 3 x 2 respectively. At home, Mirassol won 12 matches and drew seven in the Brasileirão.

With the draw, Mirassol finished the Brasileirão Series A in 4th place, with 67 points. The team cannot be overtaken by Botafogo, who comes just behind, with 61 points. With the end of the Brasileirão Series A, Mirassol is resting with an eye on next season. Leão will not play again in the Campeonato Paulista until January 11.
