As at the end of every year, the most used search engine in the world revealed the trends of each country and showed what they were in Argentina

As is tradition, at the end of the year Google presented its annual “Year in Search” report, an insightful summary that reveals the trends, concerns and interests that mobilized Argentines in the last twelve months. Search results for 2025 show a country paying attention to current politics, anticipating major sporting events and experiencing extreme weather.

Among the topics that dominated general interest, the Club World Cup and ARCA, the exAFIP, stood out, a clear sign of the economic and fiscal consultations of citizens. The Most Wanted list also reflected the influence of pop culture with the creation of The Eternaluta and the growing popularity of racing driver Franco Colapinto.

The trends focused not only on current events but also on public figures. The report ranges from the political realm with mentions of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to entertainment with media scrutiny of figures such as Julieta Prandi and Cris Morena. Argentinians used the search engine to inform themselves, entertain themselves and closely follow both national events and the global pulse.
