Lula’s proposal to President Donald Trump for cooperation between Brazil and the United States in the fight against organized crime contained a poison pill. The American market benefits from criminal arms sales and money laundering. Trump doesn’t want to get involved in this.
The tactic of partnering with U.S. arms sales in the fight against crime was pioneered more than a year ago by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.
It worked and Trump started praising her.
PT in high heels
An expert from governments and Brasilia reports:
“Lula’s group surprises with its self-sufficiency. They look like talking dolls. They repeat the same arguments they heard at the Palace, with the pose of a Roman senator and the intelligence of Primo Carnera.”
The mixture of the Roman senator with the intelligence of Carnera (1906-1967), an idiot boxer, was the work of journalist Nertan Macedo (1929-1989).
High heels looked good with the Tucanos, PT members look awkward.
Donald Trump has still not given up because he was not awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
He says he ended seven wars in seven months, which is another plus, but the Nobel was awarded to Barack Obama in 2009 without him having ended any war.
Lula and the floor below
In two years of the Lula 3.0 government, 8.6 million people were lifted out of poverty. This is the best rating since the start of the historic series.
He achieved this with a Selic rate of 15%.
Apparently, 2026 will be a good year for Lula and his allies.
