Reason: right-wing politicians have managed to convince at least half of the population that this flag was raised to “defend criminals”. This is what reveals an unprecedented survey by Quaest, which took to the streets between November 27 and 30 with the following question: “Are politicians who speak in favor of human rights more interested in defending good citizens or criminals?
No less than 48% answered “criminals”, compared to 46% who chose “good citizen” (6% did not know or did not answer).
