
Uber driver Manoel Neto, 55, had a difficult time on Saturday (12/06), when he had to be rescued after becoming stranded on top of his own car during floods in Marginal Botafogo, Goiânia.

The car was covered in water after heavy rains hit the area, and the driver had to climb onto the roof of the car while waiting for help.
Teams from the Goiás Military Fire Brigade (CBMGO) carried out the rescue using ropes to reach the man.
According to the company, he was conscious and had no apparent injuries.

Civil Defense warns of heavy rain
The Civil Defense of Goiânia reported that the intense rains on Saturday caused flooding on Avenida 87, in Setor Sul and on Marginal Botafogo itself.
In a note, the agency warns that the population “should not cross areas prone to flooding”, reinforcing the high risk of accidents.
Civil Defense continues to monitor weather conditions and says further updates will be issued as the situation evolves.
The agency recommended residents follow instructions provided through official channels and call emergency services whenever necessary.
