A footballer identified as João Victor Cubas Alves, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of rape on Saturday June 12 in Salvador (BA). According to police information, the suspect was located by officers at a motel on Rua Forte de São Pedro, near Campo Grande.

Contacted, the Bahia Civil Police (PCBA) confirmed the arrest. “The person indicted and the victim met on a dating application and spent the night in a bar located in the Central region.
