Cagliari beat Roma 1-0 at home this Sunday (7), in a match valid for Serie A of the Italian Championship.
After more than two and a half months without winning a match, when the Sardinian team beat Lecce in September, Pisacane pulled Roma out of the lead with a late Gianluca Gaetano goal in the 82nd minute, which came after Giallorosso Zeki Celik was sent off in the 52nd.
This is the second consecutive defeat for Roma, who despite their persistence against smaller teams, this time failed to win.
On the other hand, Cagliari, desperate for victory, showed courage and danger from the start, such as Adam Obert’s attack from the left and then that of Gennaro Borrelli, which were saved by the Roman defense.
However, the Giallorossi, with 27 points, occupy fourth place in the standings, while the Pisacani are 13th, with 14 points.
