Milton Hatoum, one of the biggest names in contemporary Brazilian literature, will be live at the center of Roda Vida.
He will talk, among other subjects, about his book “Dance of Mistakes”, the last volume of the trilogy “The Darkest Place” in which he recounts family fractures, memories of exile and years of political tensions. Hatoum assumed the sixth presidency of the Brazilian Academy of Letters in August this year.

Fátima: The story of a miracle
Taking place during the First World War, this drama recreates the apparitions of the Virgin Mary witnessed by three children: Lúcia, Jacinta and Francisco. Between public skepticism and pressure from the Church, the film reconstructs the climate of tension which preceded the Miracle of the Sun, which the crowds witnessed.

Glória Perez’s work, shown in 2012, returns to television, reigniting the debate on international human trafficking. In the plot, Morena is lured by a fake job offer in Türkiye and falls into a criminal network. The cast includes Nanda Costa, Claudia Raia and Rodrigo Lombardi.

Nominated by Finland for next year’s Oscar, the film is a comedy about two sisters in a small country town who promise to brew beer for a wedding, but end up drinking the entire batch. In a race against time, they must overcome their hangovers to produce more drink.
