USP Professor Emeritus and one of the founders of Datafolha, Reginaldo Prandi, has donated his library of Afro-Brazilian studies to the Museu Paulista, considered the country’s largest private collection in the region.
After more than a year of processing, the institution accepted the donation and the books were transferred in the first week of November to the Ipiranga Museum, where they will constitute the Reginaldo Prandi Afro-Brazilian Collection.
The incorporation is part of a new program at the Ipiranga Museum dedicated to the African formation of Brazil.
