In the last round of the Brazilian Championship, Grêmio beat Sport 4 x 0 on Ilha do Retiro. The tricolor triumph came thanks to goals from Carlos Vinícius, twice, from Gustavo Martins and from Cristaldo.
With this victory, Imortal finishes the Brasileirão in 9th place, with 49 points, and thus secures a place in the Copa Sudamericana. Leão was in last place in the championship with only 17 points scored.
