
A 54-year-old man was arrested red-handed after attempting to rape his 15-year-old stepdaughter this Sunday afternoon (07/12) at QNP 14, Ceilândia (DF). The suspect was stabbed by his stepdaughter and allegedly attacked his partner a few days before the attempted rape.
At around 5 p.m., a team of Military Police officers from the 8th Military Police Battalion (RP 28) was called through the Military Police Operational Center (COPOM) to check the situation. Arriving at the address, police found the man who had committed the crimes stabbed on a bed.

The man’s stepdaughter reported to police that her stepfather was masturbating in front of her and then tried to grab her. In an act of self-defense, the teenager grabbed a knife and struck him.
The teenager’s mother was also present at the scene and informed the team that she had been assaulted by the man a few days earlier and had visible injuries.
By examining the suspect’s criminal record, the Prime Minister noted that the man had already been convicted of offenses linked to the Maria da Penha law, in particular against his own partner, who had revoked a protection measure she had taken against him.
Due to injuries resulting from the victim’s reaction to the attempted rape, the individual was rescued and transported to the Ceilândia Regional Hospital (HRC). He remains hospitalized under escort from the Civil Police of the DF (PCDF), due to the alleged aggravated rape.
The parties were taken to the Special Commission for Assistance to Women II (DEAM II) for appropriate measures. The man must answer for the crimes of aggravated rape and domestic violence.
