“The inspiration for decorating comes from what we have experienced, seen or imagined throughout the year. In this case, the little animals conquer every corner to accompany Santa Claus: reindeer, owls, mice and hedgehogs put a smile on our faces every time we see them sitting there, filling every environment with imagination,” they tell us. “There is nothing that excites us more than seeing the house transform: Lights on, wreaths on the doors, reindeer, Santa Claus and of course the inevitable tree full of decorations that gives us back the magic of being children for a moment,” the decorating sisters told us.
This year they decided on one 3.60 meter tall Christmas tree and they decided to put some of them on the house Eucalyptus branches and one Mother owl with her mini owls. We see hedgehogs on the armchairs and some mice hanging on the lamp. “This December, “The animals are the protagonists.”

“The key is to select elements that nature gives us – twigs, pine cones, wood, raw textiles and fibers – and combine them with small decorative pieces that add a festive touch.”
The Dining tablenext to the living room, is round and can accommodate eight people. This year they put them on Whitewith a Centerpiece that recreates a forest where elegant reindeer play the main role. “Earth tones dominate, plates with festive motifs, half cutlery holders and napkins with white flowers.”
This table is a must for the sisters every year. “It is the one that arouses the most surprise and joy: colorful, lively and fun”they confessed.
This year the table had rustic details and a rural atmosphere. For the palette they chose the classic Christmas redboldly combined with pink and turquoiseto create a fresh and original proposal.
The central path of the table becomes a festive setting: toys that invite play, red sealing wax plates that add intensity, and striped lollipops that provide a playful wink. Everything vibrates in a joyful mood.
“To define the palette, we start with the tablecloths and from there develop different styles depending on each customer’s taste. There are those who love the classic Christmas red and those who prefer neutral tones.”
L’Epicerie was born in 2012 as a shared dream of two sisters who decided to start a business together. In its beginnings it was a small bedding and fragrances store. Over time and thanks to the dynamics of suppliers and customers’ requirements, the project grew and diversified.
Today the house offers a wide range of products including furniture, decoration, table linens, curtains, bazaar, lighting and handcrafted taps.
