Crystal Palace beat visiting Fulham 2-1 in a game at Craven Cottage. The goals of the game were scored by Eddie Nketiah in the 20th minute of the first half and Marc Guehi in the 43rd minute of the second half. Harry Wilson equalized in the 38th minute of the opening period.
With this victory, Crystal Palace climbed to fourth place in the English league, in the Champions League, with 26 points, while Fulham finished fifteenth with 17 points, four away from the relegation zone.
The game started in the Eagles’ favor when Adam Wharton, after a great joint effort, assisted Nketiah, who controlled the ball in the penalty area and beat goalkeeper Bernd Leno with his right foot. Shortly after the end of the first half, Harry Wilson equalized and when it looked as if both teams would share the points at Craven Cotage, Marc Guehi made it 2-1 with a header.
In the other duel on Sunday, Brighton (7th) saved an agonizing 1-1 draw against West Ham (18th) with a goal from Georginio Rutter in the 46th minute of the second half. Jarrod Bowen managed to score the first goal in the 28th minute of the second half.
