Rede Medical strengthens its operations in the field of oncology by offering a specialized center bringing together cutting-edge technology and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive patient care. The objective is to facilitate access to qualified and humanized care close to home, thus increasing the chances of early diagnosis and more effective treatments. After all, the progression of cancer is a reality in Brazil and around the world.
The Rede Medical Oncology Center was designed to welcome patients at all stages of their journey: prevention, diagnosis, treatment and post-therapeutic follow-up. The space welcomes patients with solid tumors of different origins, such as breast, lung, gastrointestinal tract, gynecological, urological, head and neck, nervous system and sarcomas, as well as hematological cancers, including lymphomas, leukemias and multiple myeloma.
The entire structure has been designed to guarantee comfort and safety, from the large reception to the individual infusion boxes with television, internet and space reserved for companions.

“Every detail has been thought of so that the patient feels supported and confident throughout the therapeutic journey. Cancer impacts the life of the entire family, and our role is to provide local, quality and humanizing care.
Areta Agostinho, oncologist
The Rede Medical team brings together recognized professionals from the Northern region: oncologists Marina Vasco, Lucas Guglielme, Yasminne Rabaioli and Ariana Luz and hematologists Sâmya Di Paula and Carlos Alberto Rodrigues, who work in an integrated manner to define personalized and safe behaviors.

For oncologist Marina Vasco, information continues to be one of the most powerful strategies in the fight against disease. “Early diagnosis allows for less aggressive, more precise treatments with better results. It is therefore essential that people adopt healthy habits and regularly undergo preventive examinations,” he emphasizes.
The comprehensive infrastructure reinforces the service’s commitment to comprehensive care. The Medical Network has four intensive care units – three at Hospital Medical and one in Santa Thereza – a surgical center with robotic technology, high-definition imaging exams and its own oncology handling pharmacy.
At the infusion center, patients have access to a cryotherapy cap, specialized nursing support and nutritional and psychological support, as well as an exclusive concierge who helps them schedule appointments and exams, making the experience lighter and more organized.

The service follows strict safety protocols, with weekly clinical meetings to discuss cases and follow patients for at least five years after treatment ends.
This combination of structure, reception and specialized teams allows Rede Medical to consolidate itself as a reference in the Northern region in the care of oncology and hematology patients.
“We invest in technology, but above all in people, professionals trained and dedicated to providing comprehensive, attentive and humanized care. In this way, we guarantee that every patient finds everything they need here, of quality and close to home,” adds Marina Vasco.
