Sports editorial team, December 6th (EFE). – The Spanish women’s futsal team won the four games against Argentina, its rival this Sunday for third place at the World Cup in the Philippines, with a clear record of 21 goals scored and only 10 conceded.
The four friendlies took place between 2023 and 2024 and the cycle began in the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas with two consecutive victories with a score of 4-3 and 6-0 respectively.
In the first match, played on February 14, Vane Sotelo scored two goals, Irene Córdoba and Florentín an own goal, while in the 6-0 win Irene Córdoba scored two goals, Dany Lopes, Irene Samper, Cris and Peque.
The next two friendly matches took place in Móstoles in 2024, more precisely on November 12th and 13th, with victories for Clàudia Pons’ team with 5-2 and 6-5 respectively.
In the first game, Ale de Paz scored twice for Spain, Eva González, Noelia and Dany Lopes, including a comeback as Argentina were 0-2.
The Galician Antía Pérez was the protagonist of the 6-5 victory with three goals scored and was assisted by Noelia, Eva González and Paula Guix, while in Argentina Becha stood out with four goals scored and the other was scored by Silvina Nava. EFE
