Military police were called to respond to an incident of domestic violence. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Daniele lying on the ground, seriously injured, and Cristian lying next to the body. He confessed to the murder to the police.
Paramedics were called and took the victim to a local hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. Forensic doctors conducted examinations at the residence and the knife used in the attack was seized.
The case was registered as femicide, in the 6th Police District of Santo André. Cristian remains in prison, at the disposal of Justice.
