The Brazilian Championship ended last Sunday and defined the last relegated teams, those classified for the 2026 South American Championship and who will play the pre-Libertadores 2026. Some of these definitions may, however, change depending on the champion of the Copa do Brasil, which will end on the 21st.
Of the 20 Serie A teams, only two finished the competition without being relegated or without qualifying for a continental competition: Vitória (15th) and Internacional (16th) were in the “neither nor” zone of the Brasileirão, and in 2026 they will only have the State, the Brasileirão and the Copa do Brasil.
