Kleber Mendonça Filho celebrated on social networks an unprecedented milestone for national cinema. The Secret Agent, the director’s new film, obtained three nominations at the 2026 Golden Globes and set a Brazilian record at the international awards.
Set in Recife in the 1970s, the film appears in some of the most coveted categories: Best Drama Film, Best Non-English Language Film and Best Drama Actor, with Wagner Moura being recognized for his performance.
