The search for facelifts among younger and younger people has grown, as shown in a BBC article. Driven by the decision of celebrities, like Anitta and Kris Jenner, to speak openly about the procedure, facial plastic surgery – technically known as rhytidectomy – aims to improve visible signs of aging on the face and neck, according to the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery.
Ana Paula Oliveira, general director of Turkey-based aesthetic clinic Estego Clinic, says the team has observed a significant increase in demand from patients aged 25 to 35 for facial rejuvenation and toning procedures.
“This generation seeks early prevention, aesthetic balance and natural results, without excessively altering the original features. Generally, it seeks to improve the harmony of the face, prevent premature sagging and maintain a rested appearance. It values modern technologies, subtle results and attentive professional follow-up,” reveals the manager.
The executive says the Estego Clinic sees spikes in demand following posts or news about celebrities undergoing the procedure. “There is renewed interest after great repercussions in the media. However, we maintain strict medical conduct in which each case is evaluated individually, and the patient only proceeds to the intervention after a detailed clinical analysis, guaranteeing safety and real necessity.”
Oliveira explains that facelift, in young patients, is only indicated in specific cases, for example in cases of marked sagging, genetic changes or rapid weight loss. According to her, the approach is personalized and favors less invasive techniques, such as the mid-third facelift or the fox eye.
The Estego Clinic adopts clinical and screening protocols to ensure that the indication for the procedure is responsible and based on medical evaluation. To this end, all patients undergo a complete medical evaluation by specialized surgeons, undergo laboratory analyses, undergo photographic analysis and an anatomical study of the face before any surgical indication.
“In addition, we also provide complete postoperative follow-up, seeking to guarantee the safety and sustainability of the results. This support includes periodic online assessments and nutritional advice, essential for adequate healing and the preservation of long-term results,” explains the professional.
The general director of the Estego Clinic highlights that the clinic invests in technologies such as endoscopic facelift, with the aim of providing discreet results, with minimal invasion and reduced recovery time.
“Our goal is to offer patients of all ages a safe and personalized medical experience, focused on self-esteem and well-being, not just appearance,” emphasizes Oliveira.
