The Seville City Council, led by José Luis Sanz, is carrying out a special campaign to plant nearly 80,000 ornamental plants for Christmas in around 80 locations across the city, such as roundabouts, fountains and boulevards.
According to the … The Consistory, since the beginning of the current municipal mandate, has increased by almost 50 percent the number of locations with seasonal flower.
Among the new locations included this year in the Christmas campaign, the following stand out: the surroundings of the Santa Justa station and the Glorieta de Carlos Cano, where “the green spaces are reinforced to improve your image during the holidays.
The protagonist species of this campaign are red cyclamen, poinsettia, Indian carnation and begoniaselected “for their resistance and their ability to bring color to this time of year”, as explained by the Town Hall.
The Mayor of Parks and Gardens, Evelia Rinconstressed that these plantations “reinforce the municipal commitment to the care and beautification of green spaces”.
