Amid the controversy, Bosch has responded publicly and even defended itself against unpleasant questions about it.
“The truth is that I have no complaint and, frankly, I don’t want to talk about this issue,” he said in Pica, adding: Telemundo.
Also when asked about the freezing of Raúl Rocha Cantú’s accounts, she replied that she would prefer not to get involved in conflicts that have nothing to do with her participation in the beauty pageant.
The hosts asked her if she would have competed in Miss Universe if she had known about the controversy, to which she replied:

“I believe that you can never know the future better than what you live in the present. And well, Miss Universe is a dream. I have nothing to do with these things because, well, my job is to be a voice for women around the world. So I don’t think my participation should be related to issues that may be outside of me.”
She also clarified that she generally received a lot of questions that were far removed from her work as Miss Universe.
“I haven’t defamed anyone, I haven’t said anything that isn’t true. What I think is that this is an issue that of course, as you say, is being talked about, but we need to turn the page because there are just more important things that we need to talk about, like empowering real women.”
First, Bosch was asked about the fairness of the competition.
“The reality is that I don’t know the detailed rules that the organization was looking for this year, what things they take into account or not. We kind of don’t know that part, but what should I tell them? That everyone should have an equal chance of winning, regardless of their passport, of course,” she said.
Despite the controversy, Bosch has reiterated its commitment to social causes and women’s empowerment. “I have many social causes that excite me and we have been gradually preparing the agenda this year. For example, with children with oncology, with migrants, women in a state of vulnerability,” he said.
He also stressed that unfortunately society “lacks values” and that is why the controversy is attracting more attention.
Bosch’s coronation took place for the fourth time on November 20 in Thailand Mexico receives the title of Miss Universe.
“A fun fact is that my lucky number is four. And I realized a few days ago that today is the fourth crown and four was appearing everywhere. So I said: either I come fourth or I win the fourth crown,” Bosch shared in an interview Telemundo.
However, the joy of the victory was overshadowed by questions about the selection process and the influence of external factors, such as the issuance of visas for participants, particularly from Ivory Coast, which the organization had taken into account in the final result.
The controversy intensified after the incident Nawat Itsaragrisilwhich took place on November 4th during a meeting between candidates and the businessman.
“He wanted to somehow humiliate me in front of all these people, and that wasn’t right. I thought, ‘You can’t talk to me like that. You can’t call me stupid.'”
The model admitted that she was scared at that moment, but decided not to remain silent. “I couldn’t remain silent because in any case your dignity is more important than any award or dream you have,” she said in the same interview.
