This is the fifth time that the photographer has won the award. The others were in the 1999, 2008, 2014 and 2015 versions. Finally, work was also on the case of rail transport. He won the photo “Our Daily Train”.
– The big problem is that it has been ten years, and the network is still very risky – notes Peixoto. — To do the current series, I was invited by Marcos Nunes, who knows that I am a train user. It was really great to work with him. We woke up at dawn and went to Jabiri with the intention of continuing the passenger flight to central Brazil. We went four times.
GLOBO finalist photographer Fabiano Rocha had a “Trincheira carioca” photo of passengers and drivers trying to protect themselves from gunfire on Avenida Brasil during an operation in Complexo de Israel.
