Following the success of the last edition, the call for proposals aims to add proposals for the emblematic event, which will take place from April 10th to 12th in Alberti Park. The last edition brought together more than 25,000 people.
After the success of the last edition, in which more than 25,000 people took part, registration has been opened to participate in the Italian Gastronomy Festival that will take place on April 10, 11 and 12, 2026 in Alberti Park.
The Italian-style event combines in green areas 38 and 25 an attractive gastronomic courtyard with typical dishes, cooking shows, literary workshops, crafts, live shows, an exhibition of Italian motorcycles and cars and games for the little ones.
The event takes place on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 00:00, and on Sundays it starts at 12:00 and ends at 22:00.

As clarified, the festival will not be interrupted due to rain and will be postponed to Friday 17th April, Saturday 18th April and Sunday 19th April in the event of force majeure due to a storm warning.

OF MUNICIPAL INTEREST
The event, recognized as municipal by the Local Advisory Council, is organized by the Territorial Coordination Agency Italia Argentina in collaboration with the Accademia A Tavola con lo Chef (Rome), the Accademia de la Gastronomía Italiana (Peruggia) and the Aladi Latin American Design Association.
Also accompanying the festival are the Free Chair Productive Corridor Italy Argentina of the National University of La Plata, the Center for Studies of Italian Language and Culture, the Istituto per la Promozione e la Valorizzazione della Dieta del Mediterraneo de Sicilia (IDIMED) and the municipality of Moricone in the area of the Cultural Tourist Productive Corridor Italy Argentina and the Apulia, Puglia Promozione.
It should be noted that the festival is part of the local, regional, provincial and national development program of the Italy-Argentina Cultural Tourism Productive Corridor, has been declared of provincial interest by the Government of Buenos Aires and will take place in La Plata in its capacity as capital of Italian emigrants and Italian music.
