Federal deputies Glauber Braga (PSol-RJ), Sâmia Bomfim (PSol-SP) and Célia Xakirabá (PSol-MG) filed a police report with the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) after the attacks suffered by the group in the Chamber of Deputies, on the night of Tuesday (12/9).
In a statement accessed by the Na Mira column, Glauber Braga said that, while he occupied the seat of the Speaker of the House, agents of the Federal Legislative Police told him that they would be forced to expel him from this position, supposedly on the orders of President Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB). According to Braga, the agents used “unprecedented force” to expel him from the plenary.
The MP claims to have been attacked to the point of having his right arm injured and his jacket torn while he was expelled from the plenary. He was the subject of a criminal investigation, the results of which are expected to be revealed later.

The case
Footage from the plenary shows legislative police removing Glauber Braga, who is showing resistance. Around him, deputies protest, while others film the situation.
Glauber occupied the board of directors on Tuesday to protest Motta’s decision to vote on the psoloist’s dismissal procedure. The situation occurred before the session that was to vote on the PL Dosimetria, which reduces the sentence of Bolsonaro and others convicted of attempted coup d’état.
Glauber Braga is accused of violating parliamentary decorum by expelling Free Brazil Movement (MBL) activist Gabriel Costenaro from the House in April 2024. This Tuesday, Motta proposed the revocation of the parliamentarian’s mandate for Wednesday’s plenary session (12/10).
