At the end of September, the Israeli army’s offensive in Gaza City forced Doctors Without Borders (MSF) teams to evacuate the area towards the south of the strip. On October 10, when the ceasefire came into effect, its workers returned to work in two health centers in a city reduced to ruins. Among them were Zaher and Sami, the two nurses who play Traces of the genocidea documentary produced by the NGO in which they explore the ruins of Gaza City and recount their daily lives as they try to reopen the health services at Al Shifa hospital and the MSF clinic.
