Abascal accuses Sánchez of corruption and betrayal of support for independence
The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, summarized the results of the year of Pedro Sánchez’s government in four points: “corruption, ruin of public services, mass immigration and betrayal”, to which Sánchez responded by accusing the ultra leader of spreading lies and refuting his diagnosis on the economic achievements of his government, the reduction of inequalities in Spain and the strengthening of the welfare state, achievements which in terms of education, health or dependency, which depend on the communities, are reduced by supported PP governments. by Vox. “You offer only poverty and the pain of being locked up without the ability to fund a healthy and strong welfare state. »
According to Abascal, the Sánchez government is summed up in corruption, due to the cases that affect the Executive and the PSOE; “ruin and collapse” of public services with young people without access to housing and “hospitals have collapsed because of the massive treatment of immigrants”; “massive immigration and precariousness of women”; and “treason, because he does everything with the enemies of Spain to stay in power”. In this sense, he said that “Moncloa is not the place where you live, but rather the place where you hide, your lair.”
Sánchez criticized Abascal for not liking dialogue, as evidenced by the former colleagues expelled from Vox who denounce him, and that is why he prides himself on being the European country with the most growth, one of the first in terms of job creation, reduction of inequalities and increase in purchasing power. “Because we are strengthening the welfare state, health, education, dependency, all policies in the hands of autonomous communities. » “What is happening is that the PP governments supported by the far right have abolished this welfare state, they have abolished public healthcare because private healthcare companies are on the waiting lists for public healthcare. This is done thanks to their votes in regional parliaments,” he snapped. He also recalled that the commitment to renewable energies has made it possible to reduce the electricity bill and that 95% of immigration enters Spain through regular channels.
