MADRID, December 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Ukrainian authorities denounced this Wednesday the launch of 80 drones by Russia in the last few hours, 50 of which were shot down, in the middle of an attack as part of the invasion launched in February 2022 on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Ukrainian Air Force said on its Telegram account that Russian troops launched 80 planes against various parts of the country, before specifying that 50 were intercepted and confirming the impact of 29 at seven unspecified points.
“The attack is still in progress. There are several enemy drones in the airspace,” he warned, while calling on the population to “respect security rules” in the event of a wave of Russian air attacks.
For its part, the Russian government stressed that in the last few hours, 25 Ukrainian drones were destroyed, including four that were flying towards the capital, Moscow, without commenting on possible casualties or material damage.
The Russian Defense Ministry indicated in its Telegram account that 21 devices had been shot down in Bryansk, in addition to six in the Moscow region, two in the Kaluga region and one in the Belgorod region, without Ukraine commenting on the objectives of the attacks.
