The demonstration was carried out in the company of the Secretary of Transport, Sean Duffy, who also participated in the activity, as part of an official campaign to encourage healthier air travel habits.
Duffy urged airports and airlines to offer more nutritious food options, incorporate exercise areas and add family spaces such as breastfeeding rooms and children’s play areas.
He also called on airlines to improve the overall passenger experience without imposing obligations. “This isn’t about mandates or requirements. This is a conversation about how to make travel a little bit better,” he said.
The secretary announced that he did not plan to intervene in food prices at terminals, but stressed the need to replace snacks and high-calorie products with healthier alternatives.
Duffy also used the conference to clarify that he is overseeing a plan to modernize the nation’s air traffic control system and has asked Congress for an additional $19 billion to complete the project.
He finally admitted to having no news of a proposal inherited from the Biden administration which aims to prohibit airlines from charging for the allocation of adjacent seats to families with young children.
This isn’t the first time Kennedy, 71, has gone viral because of her looks. The Health Secretary has previously appeared in other videos doing push-ups and light physical exercises.
In December 2024, he shared footage of his workout at a gym in Los Angeles, California on his official X account. In August 2025, he participated in a fitness challenge with Pete Hegseth – then Secretary of Defense – called the “Pete and Bobby Challenge”, which involved completing 50 push-ups and 100 pull-ups in 10 minutes.
Who is Robert Kennedy Jr.?
The environmental lawyer, a member of the famous Kennedy family and son of former Senator and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, was born in 1954. He developed much of his career in the legal and activist field, including in causes related to the environment, public health and the regulation of polluting industries.
Beginning in the 2000s, Kennedy increased his public visibility not only through his environmental work, but also through his critical stance toward regulatory agencies and certain health policies.
Over the years, these positions brought him into conflict with the scientific and political establishment, creating a controversial profile within the Democratic Party. His speech, focused on distrust of laboratories and the defense of individual freedoms, attracted different sectors, from libertarians to independents.
Politically, Kennedy launched his presidential bid in 2024 first as a Democrat and then as an independent, a strategy that aimed to capitalize on his historic family name and media presence.
In 2025, already integrated as an employee in the administration of Donald Trump, he became known thanks to his participation in official campaigns related to health and well-being, in which he adopted a position focused on physical habits, diet and lifestyle.
