Black smoke: Ministry explosion leaves people trapped in elevator
The crime occurred in the early hours of November 29, but it was not until that Tuesday that Alex was taken into custody.
In the elevator footage, it is possible to see the suspect attempt to grab the victim’s neck and, less than two minutes later, abruptly pull him away from the scene.
Maria tries to hold on, but cannot. About a minute after leaving with the victim, the man returns to the elevator alone, puts his hands on his head and sits down, in a gesture that appears desperate.
The case is being investigated by the 89th Police Station (Jardim Taboão) for femicide.
