The Altaïr School Library has established itself as one of the center’s most dynamic cultural spaces, offering students an authentic universe of readings designed to enjoy, learn and awaken the imagination. Fantastic worlds of The Chronicles of Narnia … or Harry Potter to the contemporary adventures of Los Futbolísimos or Gerónimo Stiltonthe catalog invites readers of all ages to immerse themselves in unforgettable stories.
With more than 30,000 titles available, the library brings together a wide and careful selection of children’s and children’s literature. Classics like The The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, The Jungle Book, Treasure Island, Mathilde, The Little Prince and Moby Dickas well as recent works – such as Julián Grey, the hare in the top hat – and current children’s novels, such as Monzón sobre Bombay or Mosquetero del Rey. The collection is completed by contemporary sagas particularly appreciated by primary and secondary school students.
In addition to the usual loan, the library provides students with the required readings for each course and a complete list of works recommended by the Languages and Literatures Seminar, which can be consulted and loaned within the library itself.
Faithful to its commitment to comprehensive training, Altair integrates several weekly reading modules into the school schedule.
