The Nicolândia amusement park, in Parque da Cidade, will promote a solidarity action next Saturday (13/12) as part of the Natal Mágico – Nico Encantado project. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., entry will be free with the donation of a new toy, which will be given to children cared for by social institutions in the Federal District.
Distribution will be on two fronts. In one of them, the team will visit previously selected institutions to deliver the collected objects. In the other, scheduled for December 20, a group of children will be welcomed inside Nicolândia to enjoy the attractions, taste a special snack and receive gifts.

According to businessman Marcelo Gomes, owner of Nicolândia, the proposal was born from the desire to strengthen the social role of the park. “We want Christmas in Nicolândia to go beyond fun. The idea is to unite families around a gesture of solidarity, capable of transforming the day of many children,” he says. He also emphasizes that the collection will have criteria to guarantee the safety and quality of the donated toys.
The objective is to collect a large volume of toys. If the quantity exceeds forecasts, the surplus will be allocated to other communities in the DF.
