The EL DIA newspaper’s Super Cartonazo is already being played for $4,000,000 and the chance to win $300,000 on the line. Today the new map is delivered free of charge with the printed edition of the EL DIA newspaper to start checking the numbers that will be published from tomorrow to Tuesday.
For this reason, this Thursday, after the weekly round for 3,000,000 pesos becomes free, another game begins, adding $1,000,000 with the new coupons.
How to play Cartonazo
To win the Cartonazo you must access the coupon that arrives on Thursdays together with the printed edition of EL DIA and, from Friday to the following Tuesday, follow the editions published in the newspaper and on the website.
The aim is for the 15 numbers on the card to match those published in the printed edition and on the EL DIA website. 10 numbers between 00 and 89 are published daily.
The decisive day is Tuesday with the delivery of the fifth and final batch of numbers of the weekly round, because whoever manages to collect the 15 correct answers must definitely go to the EL DIA offices, diagonal 80 No. 815, in La Plata with the winning coupon before 5:00 p.m.
If there are multiple winners, the prize will be distributed evenly. At this point it should be noted that the winners are generally those participants who collect 15 correct answers.
In addition, the win per line still applies, which pays out 300,000 pesos every week, although in this case the jackpot is not cumulative.
The latest winners
The last Super Cartonazo distributed 30 million pesos to three readers. The last winners were Eduardo Fabián Herrera (59 years old, from Berisso), Pablo Javier Cultreras (49 years old, from the El Mondongo neighborhood) and Cecilia Sánchez Benítez (83 years old, from Barrio Hipódromo).
They matched the 15 numbers and showed up at the EL DIA offices. In addition, both Herrera and Cultreras issued the five coupons released on Sundays (for this extraordinary contest) in the paper edition, so they also divided equally the additional prize of 20 million pesos. In this way, the two readers each received an amount of 13.3 million pesos. In the case of Sánchez Benítez, he took home $3,333,333, which corresponds to the round of 10 million distributed among the three winners.
During his visit to the EL DIA editorial office, Herrera said that he always reads the newspaper and has been taking part in the game for a long time. In turn, he reported that he suffered a cardiovascular accident (CVA) two years ago, which forced him to quit his job and affected his household income. Now they run a small sewing workshop together with his wife. “The prize will be very useful for us to pay off some debts and we will certainly make some home repairs. Then we will enjoy something we like.”
For his part, Cultreras assured that he has been playing Cartonazo for a long time and was happy about the fact that “the prices are more attractive”. He also emphasized that he always reads EL DIA: “I used to buy it every day. Today I continue to do so and also follow it a lot on the Internet,” he emphasized.
