On Saturday, December 13, the awards season begins in Spain with Forqué. The awards, now celebrating their 31st edition, announced this Thursday the long red carpet that will take place this Saturday at the IFEMA Madrid Municipal Palace.
The Gala, … which will be broadcast live on La 2 sur TVE, will feature Cayetana Guillén Cuervo and Daniel Guzmán as presenters. Music will also be a fundamental element of this ceremony, which will pay homage to the songs that have been part of our cinema with voices like those of Amaral, ChanelChloe Bird, JeannetteMafalda Cardenal, MarwanNil Moliner, Ruth Lorenzo and Shaila Durcal. Likewise, Enrique Cerezo, president of EGEDA, will present the gold medal to Emma Lustres, producer and co-founder of Vaca Films and responsible for productions such as “Celda 211”, “One Hundred Years of Forgiveness”, “El Niño”, “Hasta el cielo” or “Quien a Hierro Mata”.
On the Forqué stage, the best Spanish audiovisual titles will compete to win the precious prize. This is the case of ‘Sundays‘, which is nominated for Best Feature Film and the Film and Education in Values Award. For part of this production, Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, director of the film, as well as Patricia López Arnaiz, actress nominated for best female performance, will join the celebration. ‘Sirat‘, also nominated for best fiction feature film and candidate for the Audience Award, will have the presence of its producers Agustín Almodóvar, Esther García, Oriol Maymo and Xavi Font, and the distributor Lara Pérez Camiña.
A very similar case is that of ‘Maspalomas‘, also nominated for Best Fiction Feature Film and for the Cinema and Values Education Award, which will feature its directors, Aitor Arregi and José María Goenaga, as well as actor José Ramón Soroiz, nominated in the Best Male Performance category; producers Ander Barinaga-Rementeria, Ander Sagardoy, Fernando Larrondo and Xabier Berzosa — who, in addition, produce ‘The mysterious look of flamenco‘, in competition in the Best Latin American Film category—, and the distributor Alex Lafuente.

‘Deaf’ closes the list of nominees for Best Fiction Feature Film, also competing in other categories such as the Film and Values Education Award, Best Male Interpretation, with Álvaro Cervantes as nominated actor, and Best Female Interpretation, with Miriam Garlo as nominated actress. The two artists will participate in the major Spanish audiovisual festival in the company of Eva Libertad, director of the film, actor Joaquín Notario and producers Gerard Marginedas, Manuel Monzón, María José García and Miriam Porté.
In addition to Patricia López Arnaiz and Miriam Garlo, the actresses Ángela Cervantes and Nora Navas, also competing for the Forqué for best female performance for “The Fury” and “My Friend Eva”respectively, will also walk the precious red carpet. In addition to those already mentioned above Álvaro Cervantes and José Ramón SoroizAlberto San Juan, nominated in the Best Male Performance category for ‘Dinner’.
The Best Animated Feature Film Award will bring together directors Amparo Martínez Barco and Manuel H. Martín for the film ‘Pretty‘. Both will be accompanied by actress Ana Bella Estévez and producers Bernabé Rico and Carlos Rosado. For his part, Alberto Vázquez, director of “Decorado”, will be present with producers Chelo Loureiro and Iván Miñambres. Director Adrian García will do the same with ‘The barracuda’s treasure‘, title for which its producers Elena Hernández and Valérie Delpierre will be present at the big Gala. Likewise, producers Alazne Vázquez, Carla Sánchez, Tamara García and Raúl Berninches will be present on behalf of La luz de Aisha.
In the Best Documentary Feature category, the director’s assistance stands out Hernán Zin by 2025.”We are all Gaza’alongside producers Anuska Simón and Cristina Fraile. Gaizka Urresti, director of Eloy de la Iglesia. Film Addict’ – a title also in competition in this category – will be accompanied by the actor Fernando Guillén Cuervo and producers Julio Díez and Oihana Olea. María Herrera, director of “A Midsummer Night’s Tale”who will be accompanied by actress Olivia Delcán and producer Stefan Schmitz. For his part, Manuel Manrique, who directed the nominated short film ‘A head against the wallwill enjoy an evening full of awards with producers Alberto Torres, Diego Saniz and Jorge Acosta.

Among the nominated series, “Anatomy of a Moment”finalist for best fiction series, will be represented by its creators Alberto Rodríguez, Fran Araújo and Rafael Cobos; its producers Manuela Ocón and José Manuel Lorenzo; and by actor Álvaro Morte, also nominated for best male performance in a series. Something similar happens with Animal, which will have the presence of its creator Victor Garcia Leonas well as its producers Juan Luis Martínez Fernández-Aceytuno, Raimundo Riestra Crespo and Sara Martín Rada.
Juan Maidagán and Pepón Montero, creators of ‘Little Faith T2′will attend the Gala accompanied by producers Fran Araújo and Pepe Ripoll, and actress María Jesús Hoyos.
” Puberty “ closes the list of candidates for best fiction series. Its creator, Leticia Dolera, will enjoy an evening of series, films and awards accompanied by actress Betsy Túrnez and Fiona Vidal-Quadras, Gerard Marginedas, Miriam Porté and Oriol Maymo, producers of the work.
In addition to the aforementioned actresses, the list of nominees for best female performance in a series is made up of Candela Peña, for Furia, and Ingrid García-Jonsson, for Superestar. For his part, Javier Cámara, an actor nominated by Jakarta, will complete the list of participants in the Best Male Performance in a Series category.
