
The former official Ornella Calvete was ordered to investigate in a new round of subpoenas ordered today by the judiciary in the case involving the attributed audio recordings Diego Spagnuolo and investigate irregularities within the National Agency for Disabilities (Andis).
The woman must appear in court Sebastian Casanello on Friday next week at 12 p.m.
Ornella is the daughter of Miguel Ángel Calvete, already under investigation and accused by the public prosecutor of having played a key role in the maneuvers of alleged purchase control and fraud within the agency. He is convicted of pimping in another trial and imprisoned.
During a raid on Ornella Calvete’s home, police seized almost $700,000 and in conversations intercepted by law enforcement she asked her father if her company, Indecomm, had empty money. “In case they come here and see me with Mosssca,” he clarified.
Until the report by prosecutor Franco Picardi that revealed these discoveries, Ornella was director of regional and sectoral development in a secretariat of the Ministry of Economy. After the verdict, she was evicted. The same thing happened with his partner, Javier Cardiniwho was undersecretary of state in the same department.
Together with Ornella, Judge Casanello called for an investigation against Diego Martín D’Giano, who was director of medical services at Andis and who had access to the pricing system, as well as Patricia Canavesio and Julio César Viera, both identified by the prosecutor as trustworthy people Miguel Angel Calvete.
