JP Mantovani’s death occurred two months later, at the end of November, and the model’s widow, Lí Marttins, decided to visit the house she had bought with her husband. The singer took to Instagram Stories in mid-November to show off the property under construction.
Depressed, she said nothing, contenting herself with using the song Missing You, by Japanese singer Matsuda Seiko, as her soundtrack. The song is about farewell and nostalgia.
“Closing the door to our room, I said goodbye to our memories. It’s been six months, now I can smile. I spend my days busy. I walk on my path, my new destiny. I miss you, the nights when I can’t sleep. I remember your warmth, and I continue to remember… And I close my eyes. I wanted to walk behind you. Work will continue
The house is in the Lapa region, west of São Paulo, and was purchased by Lí Marttins and JP Mantovani with the intention of renovating it.
The singer’s press office revealed what she looks like now: “She and Jota bought this house together… They were renovating it and, after his death, she decided to pursue their dream,” says the note sent to Quem.
