
The Polideportivo Sur Stadium is preparing to become the meeting point of great Colombian athletes next Friday, December 19, when the second edition of Envigadeño Football Day will be celebrated.
This special day is intended to pay tribute to those who built their football careers at Envigado Quarryand become references at home and abroad.

The list of confirmed participants detailed by the organizers will include names with extensive international experience. At the top of the guest list, James Rodríguez, Juan Fernando Quintero and John Cordoba They return to the area in which they began their professional career.
They will be joined by players who also wore the green and orange jersey, such as Carlos Terán, Frank Fabra, Andrés Tello, Daniel Londoño, Edison López, Daniel Arcila and Duván Vergara. They will all share the field to catch up on the first goals and victories that marked their careers before they were promoted to top leagues.

The format of Envigadeño Football Day involves a confrontation between the players who emerged in Envigado and an Antioquia selection consisting of historical names and current events in Colombian football.

The organization of the event has confirmed the presence of important trainers such as Francisco Maturana, René Higuita, Rubén Darío Bedoya, Juan Carlos Álvarez, Juan Carlos Sánchez and Andrés Orozco.
