It was founded in 1970 by Hugo Jiménez and Marina Tondini with the intention of maintaining a traditional style that shows the authenticity of each region. He has participated in all the folklore festivals in the country and performed seasons in major theaters in Buenos Aires, as well as being part of television programs.
Jiménez completed his dance studies at the National Dance School of Argentina and has a degree in folklore. Over the course of his career he went on international tours with his company. She was also officially honored by the Salta Cultural Secretariat.
