Oncoclínicas said on Thursday that its board of directors had approved the convening of an extraordinary general meeting requested by shareholders linked to the Latache fund and that it was proposing, among other demands, the dismissal of the company’s board of directors.
The definition of a meeting date will be decided “in due course”.
“The company’s management informs that it is in the final phase of obtaining the necessary information to convene the EGM,” Oncoclínicas said in the statement.
The shareholders linked to Latache, who hold 14.6% of the capital of Oncoclínicas, requested on November 26 the convening of an EGM to discuss with the other investors of the company the dismissal of all members of the board of directors and the election of new ones.
