The coaches of Atlético Nacional and Independiente Medellín spoke at a press conferenceshowed their position on the way to the series and what they want to achieve, because they know that winning the home and away duel will not be easy because they both really want the title.

The first match will take place on Saturday 13th December and the second leg will take place on Wednesday 17th of the same month. It is the last game of the 2025 Colombian football season and with the news that the Greens could know whether they reach the Copa Libertadores or the Sudamericana.
Coach Diego Arias told the press that this final was special because of the opportunity to take a title away from his backyard rival, making it clear that he has the squad to balance things in his favor, in addition to the history and hierarchy in these types of definitions, as he is the current two-time champion.
“It’s a very important game for us, It’s the chance to win a title for our club against our traditional rivals and prepare to end the year on a celebratory note. Regarding the problems caused by the sending offs, the Nacional coach assured that “the team managed to finish with eleven players and we have learned from the experience. It will not be a game in which we will only attack, because the rival also has its offensive intentions.”
